Mixed Media  Where Imagination Knows No Boundaries

Why settle for one medium when creativity offers endless possibilities?

My mixed media works are born from curiosity, experimentation, and the freedom to break artistic conventions. Paint, ink, photography, digital elements, and unexpected textures come together in compositions where traditional techniques meet contemporary expression.

Some pieces begin with a clear vision, while others evolve through layers of spontaneous decisions, happy accidents, and unexpected discoveries. Colors collide, shapes transform, and familiar elements take on entirely new meanings.

Each series becomes a journey into uncharted creative territory, where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur, and the process of making art becomes as exciting as the finished work.

There are no rules here. Just possibilities.

Fragments — Reconstructing Imaginary Worlds

We all carry a secret world within us, shaped by childhood memories, forgotten stories, and imagination. For me, that world draws from the bedtime tales my grandparents once told me, my cultural heritage, and fragments of a past that continues to inspire me.

Fragments brings these imaginary worlds to life through sculptural photography, a mixed media technique combining photography, painting, and three-dimensional construction. Photographic elements are deconstructed and reassembled over surfaces of concrete, plaster, and other materials, creating realistic yet fantastical compositions.

Somewhere between memory and invention, these works invite us into places we have never visited, yet somehow feel we have always known.

Spirit of Houston — World Cup 2026

A celebration of soccer, art, and the vibrant spirit of Houston!

Created to commemorate the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Houston, Spirit of Houston is a special collection of 12 hand-painted soccer balls, each transforming an iconic symbol of the beautiful game into a colorful work of art.

Bursting with bold colors, playful imagery, and pop culture references, the collection captures the energy, diversity, and unmistakable character of Houston. From familiar landmarks to local icons and cultural influences, each ball tells a different story about the city we call home.

Twelve soccer balls. Twelve artistic interpretations. One extraordinary city. A celebration of Houston welcoming the world!

Retelling

Retelling series draws inspiration from the streets of Bucharest, where graffiti plays an integral role in everyday life. Through this collection, I aimed to capture the vibrant colors that adorn Bucharest's walls and provide viewers a window into some hidden urban stories. The abstracted imagery and intricate details encourage movement, allowing the mind to wander freely and imagine unknown narratives. The heavy use of abstraction, layers of subtle details, and implied motion offer those who see it an opportunity to think creatively and piece together their own tales from the city streets.

Urbana — The Spirit of a City

Born from the streets of Bucharest, Urbana draws inspiration from a city where graffiti, street art, and urban decay collide in an exuberant rebellion against the grayness of its aging facades. Beneath layers of concrete, crumbling walls, and forgotten histories, a vibrant creative spirit emerges, transforming the urban landscape into an unexpected canvas of color and expression.

From this world, Urbana herself came to life—a mysterious figure, a personification of the city's restless soul. First appearing in Urbana Revisited, her wide, watchful eyes seem to observe, protect, and guide those who wander through her realm of stone, concrete, and steel.

Both guardian and muse, Urbana embodies the resilience, contradictions, and untamed beauty of a city that refuses to lose its spirit.
