Over the past ten years, I have tried to create a parallel between the image of Princess Brianna Caradja, whose aristocratic family was driven out of Romania by politics, and of the capital city that is crumbling both physically and socially. Lost Memories
Lost memories is a collection of mixed media works created on wood and canvas. The works contain pieces of memory from Bogdan's family: telegrams, cards and personal belongings. All these things serve as the foundation of each of these artworks. They have hidden messages and stories and secret messages one has to discover and imagine.
