Over the past ten years, I have tried to create a parallel between the image of Princess Brianna Caradja, whose aristocratic family was driven out of Romania by politics, and of the capital city that is crumbling both physically and socially. Flowers play an integral role in our lives, infusing it with beauty and energy. Floral paintings provide no exception, uplifting the spirit of those who gaze upon them. Every home would benefit from having a floral work of art hanging in a corner, as they have the power to brighten one's day and lift one's mood during low moments. Flowers elevate positivity, making a home feel more welcoming and beautiful. My floral paintings draw inspiration from the wild gardens of my countryside, where grass, leaves and flowers come together like a wild yet beautiful bouquet. Upon viewing these paintings, one can almost hear the flowers singing and feel them dancing, as there is a sense of motion imbued within each image.
