PLAYGROUNDS SERIES
These abstract artworks evoke memories of carefree childhood and time spent playing in parks and playgrounds. Bright colors, swirling shapes and scribbles represent the joy, laughter and sounds of children running, jumping, sliding and interacting with each other. The works bring to mind images of tots surrounded by grass, trees, birds, sunshine and mid-day summer showers. They capture a sense of innocence, positive energy and freedom that comes from unstructured time in one's youth. Overall, the Playground series seeks to remind viewers of happy memories from childhood and the simple pleasures of the playground.
